Konstnärskap

I am a painter/sculptor working with wood. I use different types of wood, for example oak, birch, alder and linden which I paint with egg oil tempera, tar and 24 carat gold leaf. I use hand tools, axe, saw, wooden mallet and chisel. For me, wood is a sensual, living, lustful and earthy material, and so are my themes. With themes such as ”My girl”, horses, boxers and cows my work is perhaps a way of anchoring myself in an increasingly changing world.
