The seasonal cycle of nature is the source of my artistic practice. As nature has its seasons, times of darkness and silence, bright moments steaming with life, we, too, have our seasons. My pieces intertwine metal and wool – with metal pieces embroidered with wool and woven tapestry adorned with metal. With these materials, I explore the relation between softness and strength, lightness and darkness, key features of our internal seasons.
