Harrius is a ceramicist based in Stockholm, with a MFA from Konstfack. In her artistic practice, Harrius often works with questions regarding gender hierarchies in craft history, and how these structures are affecting her own work in a contemporary society. Her master project “The Repulsive Flower” (2020), is an investigation of gender norms in ceramic history, questioning what traditions we have chosento live on. What do we value as great art today and what do we reject as tasteless knick knack?
